In support of Rare Disease Day on February 29th, Prairie Street Brewing Company will be donating $1 of every Limited Release beer sold to the GABA-A Alliance during the month of February.
What is the GABA-A Alliance? They are dedicated parents of children who are affected by a GABA-A related disease that include epilepsy, autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. These parents are committed to improving the quality of life for their children by raising awareness, establishing a community of support & education, and streamlining research & development through partnerships with industry professionals, grassroots campaigns, and networking.

What is Rare Disease Day? Rare Disease Day is an awareness event that takes place every year on the last day of February, February 28 or February 29 in Leap Years—the rarest of calendar dates to underscore the nature of these diseases—to focus public attention on rare diseases as a public health concern. On Rare Disease Day, patients, their families, caregivers, researchers, advocates and others get involved through storytelling, media interviews, posting stories, hosting or attending events, and educational initiatives in classrooms and on college campuses.
What is a Limited Release Beer? Every Wednesday we tap new and experimental beers. Some are old favorites with a twist and others are brand new from the minds of our brewers. We will post the latest Limited Release Beer every Wednesday.
