Barrel of Laughs is a stand-up comedy series featuring both nationally recognized acts and our very own local talent. We are bringing the laughs to you once a month throughout the cooler months. Hosted at Prairie Street Brewing Co. at 6:30 p.m. with a variety of seating and beverage options. Shows will take place in The Barrel Room.

Headliner Caleb Synan
Caleb Synan is a stand up comedian that has been listed as one of the hottest young comics in the country. Hailing from Georgia, he is now living and working out of Los Angeles. His act is a blend of Southern charm and razor sharp wit. His unique background as a preacher’s kid from a small southern town gives him the ability to relate to any and every crowd.
On top of his perfomances in places like South Korea and Japan, he’s been a new face at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival and has also been on Last Comic Standing. He has appeared on CONAN twice, Comedy Central Stand Up Featuring and his episode of Bill Burr Presents: THE RINGERS just recently aired on Comedy Central. Caleb can be seen in his Comedy Central Snapchat Series Deadliest Chef. He has written for the Lovett or Leave It podcast and just recorded his Comedy Central Half Hour, which will stream digitally soon!
Featuring Mike Maxwell
Mike Maxwell is a Chicago area comedian, writer, and actor. When he’s not performing nationally, Mike is a regular at the Zanies and the Chicago Improv. His comedy style is an upbeat level of sarcasm and emotion covering many personal moments the audience may have experienced as well.
In 2021, Mike Maxwell performed in the World Series of Comedy advancing to the semi-finals of the House of Comedy satellite. Mike was one of three comedians selected to the Chicago Nerd Comedy Festival and had recorded his debut comedy album ‘Wait It Out’ that is set to be released in 2024.
